Eggland’s Best is a research-backed, marketing and sales organization owned by egg producers with over 100 million hens. Our 19 franchisees are geographically dispersed throughout the U.S.

Eggland’s Best eggs come from hens fed a patented, all-natural, all-vegetarian diet with no animal fats or animal byproducts. The feed contains healthy grains, canola oil and an all-natural supplement of rice bran, kelp, alfalfa meal, vitamins, minerals and Vitamin E. Eggland’s Best never uses hormones or antibiotics of any kind.

Eggland’s Best shell eggs are produced to the strictest quality standards in USDA-certified facilities. In addition, Eggland’s Best conducts over 30,000 laboratory tests yearly to ensure that lower levels of cholesterol and saturated fat, and higher levels of Vitamin E, Iodine, and Omega 3, are met. Eggland’s Best is committed to producing the healthiest, freshest and most delicious egg possible.

Eggland’s Best feed program is so special and unique that the US Patent Office has granted the company US patent #5,246,717 for “Eggs Compatible with a Cholesterol Reducing Diet and Method of Producing Same.”

Nutritional Benefits

Vitamin E

Eggland’s Best eggs deliver over 10 times the Vitamin E of ordinary eggs. Vitamin E is an antioxidant that may help reduce the risk of coronary heart disease, cancer and cataracts.

Cholesterol

Eggland’s Best white eggs have 175 mg cholesterol (EB brown eggs: 170 mg) vs. 213 mg in ordinary eggs. Clinical tests demonstrate that people on a low-fat diet ate 12 Eggland’s Best eggs per week without increasing their serum cholesterol level.

Saturated Fat

Eggland's Best eggs contain 25% less saturated fat than ordinary eggs. Reducing saturated fat intake is an effective way to help lower blood cholesterol and improve heart health.

Omega 3

Eggland’s Best eggs contain 100 mg of Omega 3, which is 3 times the level found in ordinary eggs. Omega 3 fatty acids are considered "essential" to overall good health but cannot be produced by the body. They promote infant development, improved heart health, brain and eye function, and mental health. Omega 3 fatty acids may also reduce the risk of developing age-related macular degeneration (AMD).

Lutein

Eggland’s Best eggs contain over 25% more Lutein (200 mcg) than ordinary eggs (135 mcg). Lutein is an antioxidant that reduces the risk of cataracts and age-related macular degeneration (AMD). It also plays an important role in eye, skin and heart health.

Iodine

Eggland’s Best contains 40% of the Daily Value of Iodine compared to 15% in an ordinary egg. Iodine is an essential element for thyroid function and is necessary for the normal growth, development and functioning of the brain and body.

Our shell eggs are produced throughout the United States and are locally delivered fresh to you. Our refrigerated liquid products are designated ESL, Pasteurized for your safety and processed in USDA-Certified facilities.

Eggland’s Best products are Kosher Certified by the Orthodox Union and carry the OU symbol. All Eggland’s Best Cage-Free and Cage-Free Organic shell eggs are American Humane Certified.
